Professional MMA: 5 rounds × 5 minutes.
Professional grappling: 3 rounds × 5 minutes.

Weight divisions

Strawweight ≤52.2 kg · Flyweight ≤56.7 kg · Bantamweight ≤61.2 kg · Featherweight ≤65.8 kg · Lightweight ≤70.3 kg · Welterweight ≤77.1 kg · Middleweight ≤83.9 kg · Light heavyweight ≤93 kg · Heavyweight >93 kg. Openweight and agreed catchweights may also apply.

Before you enter

  • Check the complete rules for your class, especially permitted ground techniques and protective equipment.
  • Professional MMA fighters must submit the required blood-test documentation. Check the professional rulebook and entry form for details.
  • From PFC.42, event medical questionnaires and medical checks apply to professional fighters only.
  • For MMA, use pocket-free fight shorts or short compression shorts. Long leggings, hakama and hard or dangling decorations are not permitted.
  • Bring your mouthguard and groin protector. Follow the rules for cotton hand wraps and taping; tape must not be applied over the knuckles.
  • Obtain your gym’s permission before applying. Read the entry agreement, withdrawal conditions and payment requirements.
